Pastors Stanley (Stan) & Yvette Stewart had faithfully served in a mega-church in the Lithonia, Georgia area for more than 18 years when they heard the voice of God say to step out on faith to pastor Restoration Christian Ministries.
Pastor Stan was born and raised in Prince Georges County, Maryland; where he was bathed in the Word of God from an early age. He was called into the five-fold ministry at the age of 13. Since that time he has served in many positions within the church. However, his true compassion is to see individuals reconcile unto God, especially men.
Born and raised in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area, Pastor Yvette was saved at an early age. She faithfully attended church for many years before she received her call to minister the word of God. While attending a women’s conference when she decided to say…“Yes, Lord, Yes”! Her greatest storm blew her into her passion in ministry of ministering to hurting women. Her testimony speaks volumes to, "all things work together for the good, of them that love the Lord and are called for His purpose. (Romans 8:28)
Not only do they have individual passions, but together they have a passion to see couples and families on one accord. With that goal in mind, they use their life experiences to speak into the lives of hurting couples and families.
Pastors Stan and Yvette realize that “Life Happens”. And sometimes what happens in life can cause individuals to feel removed from the close relationships that God desires to have with every believer. Restoration Christian Ministries was birth to present, provide and promote the way to being restored God’s way. They both walk in great integrity and are motivated by their love for Christ, believers and a spirit of excellence. They are gifted servants of God with hearts to serve His people.
They have been together for 29 years and are the proud parents for Ron, Jerome, Jessica, Jazmyne and two daughters-in-love, Melissa and Jackie.
